I've heard of the Cafe Juanita's in the metro long before today. But by fate, today was the first time I set foot in one.
We were greeted by a very warm service crew at the door. No, let me correct that... We were greeted by the very warm exterior setting by the door, then by the crew, then by the chandeliers, then by the paintings, then by the lomo cameras, then by the dye-cast cars, then by the food, then by the washroom.
One of the things I like best about Breakfast @Juanita is the acoustics. I'm a very talkative person but I'm not much a fan of allowing strangers hear my thoughts, and the acoustics in the place afforded me the much needed allowance for speech. Besides, what's dining out without conversation?
I'm not a fan of spending too much so the price in Breakfast @Juanita is definitely a no-no for an everyday breakfast place, or for frequent dining.
The food was good, still P300.00 for tapsilog is quite much - but we all know it's about the ambiance and the customer service - which was definitely A OK.
Work was the usual bitch and I lacked sleep so breakfast in a new place seemed to be in order. I was with Jam, my officemate who I treat as my little sister, and we hailed a cab from the office to Kapitolyo, Pasig.
Breakfast @Juanita is right beside Cafe Juanita. I am unsure of the difference between the two apart from the operating hours. Breakfast @Juanita opens by seven and we arrived at Kapitolyo close to nine in the morning. Cafe Juanita was still closed then.

So yes, we were greeted and we felt very welcome.
